Here are some key points from my experience:
Setting up the air purifier was a breeze and took me only about 5 minutes. The touch buttons on top are intuitive and easy to use. The clear PM2.5 indicator on the screen is a great feature, and it appears to be accurate as it detects changes in air quality, such as when cooking. I also appreciate the alert system in the app that notifies you if the purifier is not in Auto Mode. The PM2.5 can be brought down from bad (over 100) to good (<50) within 10 mins in my experience (in a 700 sqft 1b1b apartment).
One of the standout features of this air purifier is its seamless integration with smart home systems like Google Home. Being able to control it with voice commands or the Google Home/AiDot app adds a level of convenience to its operation.
Here are some pros and cons based on my experience:
Pros:
The air purifier is super quiet in Sleep Mode, and the light at the bottom is handy for navigating in the dark.
The Auto Mode feature adjusts the fan speed based on the air quality level, ensuring efficient operation.
Controlling the device with "Hey Google" is a pleasant experience.
The child lock feature is a nice touch for preventing kids from tampering with the buttons. (You don't want your 3-year-old to mass up your settings.)
Cons:
The air purifier only offers three levels of fan speed(I personally wish to have more options or at least in app), and the sound can be quite noticeable on the highest setting.
The filter life seems to deplete quickly, as I noticed it was at 77% after just 3 weeks of use. But maybe because I leave it on 24/7 and I always cook at home?
Overall, the WELOV Smart Air Purifier for Home offers excellent performance and convenience features. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as limited fan speed options and filter longevity, its ease of use, accurate air quality monitoring, and smart home integration make it a solid choice for those looking to improve the indoor air quality.
