The good: it is small. The bad: it is not suitable as a dash cam for the purpose of backing you up in court due to the time stamp is arbitrary: all files are assigned the same timestamp until you edit a txt file to change the time to a new value (no onboard clock update feature). The pixel resolution seems to return files of the proper size, except the image data is poor, and you don't get anywhere near the resolution possible: when you zoom in, the pixel info turns into blobs well before you get to the pixelation limit, indicating poor focus or more likely inappropriate optics. The manual is incomplete. The user interface is via two buttons, which are used to access like 8 different features: you need to memorize the manual process and sequences of flashes to get the camera to the ... The chassis gets hot very quickly: I don't see how its built-in battery can power the unit for 30 minutes with all that heat. The LED status lights are overly bright and annoying, especially when driving at night. The color rendering is terrible. Looks like they left off the IR filter, so colors are pinkish and distorted, in addition to the fuzzy focus. Attached are photos taken outside my house: the American flag's colors are poor, and that's a green bush it's flying over (background are green pine trees). The other photo shows my vehicles: you can't read the license plates even as I was standing 2-3 car lengths away. The last photos show the time stamps of several video files: I set the time per the manual, and all files get that exact time until the file is updated. When the file is disabled, the date defaults to 2018-12-31: not useful.
